Government Degree College, Doda has been declared as National
Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accredited at Grade ‘B’ for a
period of five years from 8th of April, 2021, the result of which was declared
by NAAC Bengaluru.
In a confirmation letter, the NAAC officials
have conveyed to the Principal that the outcome of the Assessment and
Accreditation (A&A) exercise of GDC Doda was proceed and approved by the
standing committee to examine the Peer team report and declare the
accreditation result.
Dr. Attar Singh Kotwal, Principal of the college
congratulated all the students, student council, NCC cadets, NSS volunteers and
the staff for their dedicated work and excellent contribution in the process of
NAAC accreditation of the college.
He lauded the role of outgoing Principal, Dr
Shafqat Hussain Rafiqi, IQAC Coordinator Dr Ajaz Ahmed Wani, his IQAC team
comprising of Prof Bashir Ahmed, Dr Sumit Kotwal, Prof Ankush Raj, Dr Mohd
Aslam Rather, Dr Tasir Sharief, Prof Mohd Ashraf, Prof Imteyaz Ahmed, Prof Syed
Kazim and all the college staff for the hard work they had put in towards this
great academic activity.
The college has scored maximum points in
teaching, research, innovation and infrastructure parameters.
A staff meeting was also convened by Principal
of the college on this occasion in which the NAAC Peer team report was
discussed with all the staff members along with recommendations for quality
enhancement of the institution.
He asked the staff and IQAC coordinator to gear
up for implementation of recommendation of the NAAC Peer team, maintain the
institutional record in specified formats for next cycle and work with
dedication to make this institute a model institute of learning.
